Nathaniel is an innovator of fine arts and education that is passionate about enriching lives through music. As a professional musician, private music instructor, and technology specialist, he has maintained unique career experiences that promote creativity in visual and performing arts.
In Lithonia, Georgia, Nathaniel began his musical journey as a trombone student with his elementary school band. Remaining consistent and eager to learn more in high school, he transitioned to the tuba as one the first members in the Martin Luther King Jr. H.S. Marching Lions band. Nate is a graduate of Alabama State University with a degree in Music Performance and Full Sail University with a Master of Science degree in Instructional Design & Technology. After graduation, he worked as the Assistant Director of Bands at Talladega College, joined Apple Inc. as a technical specialist & teacher, and has appeared in several film productions with VH1, B.E.T, & MTV. Nate is a member of the Technology Institute for Music Education and Minority Band Directors National Association.
Nathaniel has developed a diverse repertoire of performances with various ensembles across the nation and has participated in a cultural music exchange held at the Field Band Foundations South African National Championships in Johannesburg, South Africa. He is currently active as a musician with Orchestra Noir, Johnboy & Surround Sound, the Atlanta Junkanoo Group, and most recently has performed with Beyoncé & Jay-Z during their On The Run II & Coachella Music Fest concerts.
